Lyudmila lived her entire life in Bakhmut. She has warm memories of her beloved work at the Artemivsk Coloured Glass Factory. She was a master glassblower, creating glasses, decanters, and wine glasses with her own hands. The factory was world-renowned, and its museum housed real masterpieces. Now everything has been destroyed. “We have nothing, everything has been destroyed. No houses, no businesses,” says Liudmyla. Her own home also did not survive the war; the house was razed to the ground. “We left Bakhmut with one backpack. Everything was left there, even the documents burned,” says the woman. Despite the losses, she is trying to move on and hopes to find a new home in Central Ukraine.
