Danylo was born and raised in Kostiantynivka. But the war took away his normal teenage life. ‘Recently, a rocket hit our yard, and my classmate's grandmother died there,’ he recalls. "All my friends left, the streets were empty, and walking became very dangerous. The police persuaded the family to evacuate. "They told us to be ready to leave the next day. There was no point in staying here any longer: my mother's job paid almost nothing, and the danger was growing every day,' says Danylo. In one day, they packed the essentials and set off. It was hard for him to say goodbye to the town where he grew up. ‘It's sad to leave the house where you spent your childhood, especially when it's being bombed,’ he says.
