It was supposed to be an ordinary day. Yana was supposed to perform a dance — she was preparing for a big school concert. She came home late, tired, and went to bed thinking about the rehearsal. But instead of a stage and music, war burst into her life. In their private house at the entrance to Kyiv from the Brovary side, there were 12 people, 10 cats, and 3 dogs — a large family, animals, chaos, and complete uncertainty. The war was emotionally draining. Even now, as a university student, Yana says: it’s become easier to cry. But there’s a kind of strength in that, too.
