At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, five children were under Yevheniia's care, and her main task was to protect them. At a time when the enemy was rapidly advancing through the Kharkiv region, the words of a Ukrainian soldier became a source of support: just believe in us, and we will definitely win. These words inspired the family to start volunteering — the children were involved too. Just like back then, Yevheniia continues to support children in difficult circumstances and to volunteer, because her guiding motto is: don’t let yourself fall — others are holding on to you.
