At the age of seven, Kyrylo Kushchenko and his family survived the shelling of Mariupol, cold, hunger, and life in a basement. They managed to escape the occupied city, and their home was later destroyed.  Kyrylo first sat behind a drum kit when he was four years old. After relocating to Chornomorsk, Kyrylo continued studying music. The boy began working with a teacher. Soon afterwards, he gave his first concert in Kyiv, where he won the highest awards. The young musician became a festival ambassador, represents his native Mariupol, gives masterclasses, and attracts audiences to his street performances. Videos of his drumming receive thousands of views on social media.
