Liudmyla remembers the first explosions clearly — her home is near the Boryspil airport, which was attacked among the very first targets. To save her younger children, she took them to Germany, but her heart remained here, next to her husband and older son. So she returned — even despite the constant drone attacks, one of which fell right behind her house. Because this is her home, her family, and her deepest meaning. Liudmyla believes that everything has a beginning and an end, and she hopes the end of the war will be in our favour.
