Tetiana cannot talk about her native Bakhmut without tears. She recalls that period of her life as pure horror from the destruction of the city and the deaths of people she knew. Tetiana’s parents insisted that she evacuate, while they themselves stayed in the city until Wagner fighters appeared on the neighboring street. Now, Tetiana dreams every night of a peaceful Bakhmut, although in reality she clearly understands that she is unlikely ever to see her hometown again.
