Nataliia recalls how Borodianka was shelled and bombed. She saw it from the windows of the fifth floor —  shattered windows, because the enemy was firing at residential buildings. They hid behind two walls until March 2, when the russians dropped aerial bombs on the center of Borodianka. Nataliia’s family decided to leave their home.

Unfortunately, they didn’t manage to escape the war — in the village of Berestyanka, where they moved, russian troops appeared very quickly. They even entered Nataliia’s yard, claiming they had come to “liberate Ukrainians.” But just a few weeks later, they left the village in vehicles covered with stolen belongings.
