My aunt Liudmyla Skliar worked in a mine all her life. When the war came to Horlivka, her legs became numb from stress. When a shell exploded near the house, she was paralyzed. She has no husband, no children, and I, her great – niece, am her only relative. I took aunt Liudmyla to my home in Makiivka.

I know firsthand what it's like to live under fire. I don't have any glass in my window, it's filled with plywood.

I work in the theater, my salary is scanty. But I am very afraid of losing my job, because I need money for medicines and hygiene products for a paralyzed aunt. Everything is very expensive in pharmacies, and diapers are a huge problem. I can only buy 30 pieces, but I need 60 a month.
