Today, all efforts of the Foundation’s Founder Rinat Akhmetov and efforts of his businesses are focused on helping Ukraine win the war waged by Russia. Rinat Akhmetov highlighted this in his interview to Bloomberg.

‘All our efforts are focused on the only thing that matters now – to help Ukraine win this war, to help Ukrainians survive, and reduce their pain and suffering,’ he stressed.

He added that SCM will definitely file a lawsuit against the Russian Federation demanding compensation for all the damage caused by the Russian military aggression.

As was reported earlier, Rinat Akhmetov provided more than UAH 600 million in aid for Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens. The assistance is delivered in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its work, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive, three and a half million of them were saved in Donbass.
