Hanna and her sister Nastia spent a long time under the occupation. The war separated the sisters from their father. Their sick grandmother took care of the girls. Hanna tells how the russians forced all the children in the village to go to a russian school. They threatened families if they did not send their children to the school. The girls' father turned for help in Ukraine: the sisters had their documents made and the girls were returned from the occupied territory. But Hanna's grandmother... remained there.

The girl told her story during her rehabilitation under the project of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation “Peaceful Holidays for Children of Ukraine”.
