On the first day of the war, doctor Olena Alieksieienko from Krolevets hospital went to a call. There was a shooting on the highway. The road that connected the checkpoint "Bachivsk" on the border with the Russian Federation with the village of Kipti, Chernihiv region. The occupiers shot at the cars of civilians and Ukrainian soldiers. Olena knew of several wounded. A female soldier was found deep in the forest. Another victim reached the village. Two days later, the Russians seized almost the entire road.
