Dr. Serhii Tertyshnik lived in Mariupol with his wife, mother, mother-in-law, and wife's grandmother. While there was an opportunity, the doctor helped the wounded.
"I was the only doctor and there was one nurse. She lived on the 9th floor, I lived on the third. We met in the basement. And a man on an ambulance. We took the wounded to the hospital," says Serhii.
Hit on March 10. The entrance where the family lived was on fire. The fire was extinguished with the last water, and at that moment an aerial bomb fell on the yard.
"The force of the blow was enormous. The shock wave left everyone with their heads against the wall. After that, the arms and legs were amputated... contusion. Combat injury during an attempt to extinguish the 9th floor."
Then there was artillery, tanks. The sound was so loud that the hearts of relatives could not stand it. On March 13, the doctor's apartment burned down. And the family went to live in the basement.
