I'm eight years old, and about the war

I only knew from pictures,

From thr Eternal fire,

Burning at the obelisks.

 

Now the war is going on again.

The whole earth groans from the explosions.

But there is a soldier on duty –

He keeps his oath of allegiance.

 

From all children like me,

I will say that there is no need for war!

Let's live in peace and friendship

And let’s cherish this happiness!
