Viktoriia is a displaced person from Kherson region. She lived through the occupation, life under constant shelling, destruction, and the loss of her home. It seemed that nothing more terrifying could happen. But the night of June 17, 2025, in Kyiv, Viktoriia admits, was the most frightening experience of her life. Three waves of combined russian attacks—drones, missiles exploding right nearby — once again shattered the fragile sense of conditional safety.

Her children clearly remember the day when Ukrainian flags once again flew over their native village and how they sang the anthem to the liberators. That is why, on every birthday, they make the same wish — for Ukraine’s great victory, shared by all.
