Lidiia moved to Brovary from Popasna, a city that has been in the war zone since 2014. A city that the war turned into ruins. Life under constant russian shelling had become so mundane that February 24 did not stand out from other days. In early March, Lidiia was already living alone in the building, hiding behind a door in the corridor. Her grandson forced her to leave. To the neighbouring town of Bakhmut. Who knew that it would suffer the fate of Popasna? Now Lidiia lives in a modular town. Everything she has gained during her life was taken away by the russian invasion, and everything that reminds her of the past hurts. She dreams of only one thing – a peaceful life on her native Ukrainian land.
