Davyd is an artist who has been living in Kyiv for over 30 years. A week before the full-scale invasion, he was preparing for the exhibition, the paintings were already hanging. But everything had to be taken down. On February 24, he heard explosions, and within a few hours, everything changed. He evacuated his family. He took the children and, together with his wife, first went to their summer house, and later abroad. Davyd and his family spent time in Poland, Italy, and now live in England. He continued participating in exhibitions abroad at first, and now he is planning exhibitions in Kyiv. He supports artists who find the strength to speak through art about what they have experienced.
