The invasion troops, who disembarked in the village of Botiieve, has filled almost all the streets. Local farmer Oleksandr Zadorozhnyi recalls that russians were surprised by the asphalt roads and night lighting. Each time they asked the locals: "Maybe it's a town?"

Oleksandr worked at home on the land. The man tells that russians robbed most farmers and agricultural enterprises right away. They were taking out grain and equipment. They visited him as well. Oleksandr boycotted the work of his enterprise as much as he could, even managing to store the last pre-war harvest for almost two years. Every time he said: "Grain for Ukraine". He hoped that the lands seized by russians would be recovered soon. He couldn't wait any longer, abandoned everything and left. Oleksandr's story was recorded in Zaporizhzhia where farmer attempts to start a new life.
