Liudmyla Strokova is the Director General of the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine. During the invasion of Kyiv Oblast in February–March 2022, she moved to live directly in the museum. It was calmer there. And there were valuable exhibits there that had to be protected. For example, early works by Mariia Prymachenko. So for Liudmyla, the work continued despite the danger. Safeguarding cultural heritage became the main task. Valuable exhibits were hidden on the territory of the Lavra. And already on March 15, official work began — it was necessary to send exhibits for a Ukrainian exhibition in Poland.
