Kateryna Romaniuta tells us about what was happening in occupied Melitopol. She recalls seeing military vehicles moving through the city and drones flying. About the lack of food and constant nervous tension. About helping others, as she is a doctor by profession.

And the most difficult thing was travelling to the territories controlled by Ukraine. Kateryna was in the second evacuation convoy. The russians did not let them leave Melitopol for three days. Then there were terrible queues near Vasylivka. Long days without food and basic hygiene. And enemy shelling of the convoy. All this will always remain in Kateryna’s memory.
