Oleksandra is a psychologist by education, a soldier by combat experience, and the daughter of an archaeologist, for whom the first steps on the ground were steps among millennia-old artifacts of the Trypillia culture. After being wounded in the war, Oleksandra decided to combine her professional experience, love for history, and understanding of the needs of her fellow soldiers. Together with colleagues, she launched a unique project in the very heart of the Historical and Archaeological Reserve “Trypillia Culture” – a camp for veterans’ recovery based on an archaeological expedition. Here, among excavations and workshops, fighters could find peace, restore strength, and feel the connection with the deep roots of their land. For Oleksandra, this is not just an initiative but the fulfillment of her own principle – to do more than you can. Always.
