Olha lost her daughter as a result of the Russian attack on Chernihiv. On August 19, 2023, Russia launched a missile attack on the city. Another 6 people died and 148 were injured. The missile hit the Drama Theater. At that time, there was a drone exhibition going on there, and a lot of people were walking in the city center. Six-year-old Sofiia was the only and long-awaited daughter of her parents. The girl’s father defends Ukraine at the front.
