“A missile hit, and I was wounded 30 seconds after the air raid alarm”

12-year-old Kseniia and her friend were near the drama theater in Chernihiv at the time of the missile attack on August 19. The girls wove bracelets to sell them and donate funds to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And as soon as they arrived in the city center with jewelry for sale, the Russian army hit Chernihiv with an Iskander M ballistic missile. Debris from the explosion hit Kseniia in the leg, right arm, and forearm.
