The war took away from us the most precious thing – our beloved husband and father Volodymyr Zakharov. In 1970, he was once a football player for FC Shakhtar. At the beginning of the fighting, he was diagnosed with cancer, and they fought for his life for eight months.
His plan was to see and treat his great-grandchildren, but it didn't work out. In 2014, he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was such a good person. He worried about everything. He always tried to protect us from all the bad. And his illness progress quickly because of the war.
The misfortune also affected my health. Apart from diabetes, I now have hypertension. I can't do without expensive medications, so I have to save on food.
