Valeriia is from Kyiv, and now she lives in Estonia. She left at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, but her heart has remained at home forever. From time to time she comes back to Kyiv, and each time she admires those who choose to stay in the war, feels proud of those who defend, and with sorrow notices the scars from shelling and the shadows of losses in people’s hearts. The war taught her not to make plans, but Valeriia believes: one day she will return to Kyiv, which will once again live a peaceful life.
