The war came to Nadiia’s family when she did not know that her son had hearing problems. There was shock and confusion, but Nadiia and her husband quickly pulled themselves together, because they had someone to care for and protect. The family stayed in Dnipro despite the nightly attacks and terror from the russian aggressor. The worst thing, according to Nadiia, is that Ukrainians are getting used to war.
