Mark Bobrowski - educational expert, teacher. He died with his family in a house hit by a Russian missile. "I can't believe that a miracle didn't happen," wrote one of Mark's colleagues, Lilia Drozdyk.
“We will celebrate our victory with a bath filled with champagne,” ‒ wrote Mark Bobrovskyi, an education expert, in the chat with his colleagues.
He worked as a teacher, wrote expert materials on educational topics, and was a deputy head of the lyceum “Universum”. His colleagues wrote that he could always defuse any situation with a great joke.
Just like always, in one of his last chats, he managed to joke that he didn’t have a nice haircut and had a dispute on what should be poured into the bath - Absolut or Metaxa (a Greek alcoholic beverage).
And then, the communication with him, his wife (a general practitioner), and their son (a student of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) was suddenly lost. Mark didn’t live 14 days up to his 60th jubilee. The Russian air bomb directly hit the house, in the basement of which the family was hiding.
“First of all, for me, he was a person with immense will and character. An absolute professional in his business. With a cold mind and attention to detail. Every time I prepared some communication material and gave it to Mark for reviewing, I was trembling inside, hoping that I had not written any nonsense in my text, not to disgrace myself in his eyes, because Mark was scrupulous and fair. I respected him immensely for that. I still can’t believe that this bloody bomb hit exactly the same house where he and his family were hiding in the basement. I can’t believe that the miracle didn’t happen…” ‒ wrote Lilia Drozdyk, one of Mark’s colleagues.
