Philip was working on a farm when he came under fire. He was in a very serious condition, doctors fought for a week for his life, but, unfortunately, on March 27, the man died without regaining consciousness.
A 20-year-old Filip was from Syrovatka, in Sumy region. He happened to be under Russia’s shelling of the local farm.
“A shell hit not far from him and injured him very much,” – says Maksym Olkhovyk, Filip’s friend.
The wounded man was taken to the Sumy hospital. The doctors said that his condition was extremely severe: one eye was lost, and the head was badly injured. They operated on him immediately.
“We were waiting for the moment to send him to some clinic for rehabilitation because we understood that the consequences were considerable, and the rehabilitation would take very much money, efforts, and time. We understood that we had to solve this issue at once. We found the contact data, and we were offered several clinics in Kyiv, and in Poland.”
As the wounded man was in a critical condition, it was impossible to move him - the man was in a coma. The doctors were fighting for his life for almost a week. Filip died on March 27.
Rest in peace.
