When the war broke out, Yelyzaveta was only 16. After the first explosions, her family fled to a village in the Kyiv region, but two weeks later, enemy tanks came to their village. She remembers life under russian occupation in detail: how her brother used to count explosions instead of fairy tales. How seriously, like an adult, she talked to her mother about “what to do if...”. How they burned documents, hid SIM cards and shared the leftovers. At their own risk, the family decided to flee. And this decision saved their lives – the very next day, the enemy entered their street. Today, Yelyzaveta is studying to become an actress. The stage has become a space for healing, and creativity has become a way to share emotions and experiences.
