Nataliia was running home under fire. The whistling of shells was accompanied by machine gun fire: she fell. She felt a lot of pain, but she didn’t know then that she had broken her ribs and bruised some of her organs. She was treated after the occupation. 

russian troops entered Lukashivka in early March. They came to Nataliia’s house with searches, intimidated her with shots in the legs. Her husband’s large collection of old wristwatches was taken away. The occupiers deployed equipment and fired near the cellar where the family was hiding.
