The village of Druzhnia is almost a part of the township of Borodianka because it is located nearby. This settlement was under russian occupation for a month. The occupiers broke into the house of the social service worker and searched it. They didn't even conceal the fact that they were looking for gold. For arguing or any hint of resistance, they were shooting at the legs. Alona also recalls other horrors of war: animals abandoned to the whims of fate. Cows with no one to milk them, and starving cats and dogs.
