The war began for Tetiana in 2014 – with the annexation of Crimea, where she then lived with her husband. When the first explosions occurred in Zhytomyr in 2024, Tetiana already knew what to do – the woman began to bake bread and equip everyday life for new military realities. Tetiana did not want to lose her home for the second time – the decision to stay in Ukraine was definite. As well as the desire to be tangent to the protection of the state. Therefore, Tetiana joined the volunteer centre "Unconquered Ukrainian women", where together with like-minded people she weaves camouflage nets and learns the Ukrainian language.
