In the first hours of the invasion, Brovary Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital received about twenty seriously wounded soldiers. The operating rooms worked around the clock. Later, civilians began to be brought in as well. The medical staff literally lived in the hospital for over a month.

After the de-occupation, our work did not decrease. A stream of patients in extremely serious condition poured in. The intensive care units were filled with elderly people: exhausted, dehydrated. Valentyn Bahniuk, the hospital director, speaks about the situation.
