Hanna Trush is a paramedic from the village of Dovbysh who has worked in an ambulance all her life. When the full-scale war started, she joined the volunteer movement. Together with her daughter, the founder of the local volunteer centre, Hanna has been collecting aid, making nets and knitting sleeveless jackets for the military since the very first days.

Everyone in the family volunteers: her husband cuts the fabric, her granddaughter helps. During the first winter of the war, Hanna made 45 warm vests from recycled clothes on her own. Despite her fatigue and lack of light, she works every day. Her work is an example of home front endurance and continuous support for the frontline. Her dream is for Ukraine to win and for her family to return to peaceful skies.
