Nadiia understood that the war had been going on since 2014. But she could not believe that one day it would come to her native Kyiv — with explosions, sirens, and enemy aircraft overhead. At first, her mind refused to accept reality, but over time she learned to live in the new conditions. She says that the main thing is the people nearby: family, friends, loved ones. With them, it is not so frightening. And even on the darkest days, her name reminds her — there is always hope.
