In 2015, my 11-year-old son Danylo was thrown from the fifth floor of the house by an explosive wave.
He was on the balcony at the time, taking things off. The blow cracked his skull, and my son survived by a miracle.
We immediately brought him by ambulance to the city of Kurakhovo. We were waiting for four hours, and then the doctor came out and said that the child had no chance. We were hysterical…
Danylo had to learn to walk and even speak again. He was treated for a very long time in the Neurosurgical Department. He has impaired hand and foot function. He also doesn't pronounce all the letters and words. And every day he has to endure pain. But he dreams that soon, like his peers, he will be able to lead an active lifestyle. He wants to walk and play football.
