“Mom, I want to perform again," said the seven-year-old Sasha Pascal after her performance at the first competition in her life. The girl performed with a prosthetic leg - she had lost her leg a year before the competition. The entire auditorium gave her a standing ovation, even the judges....

In May 2022, russian missiles were fired at a peaceful neighborhood in the village of Zatoka in the Odesa region. Sasha Pascal and her mother were at their dacha. At the moment of the explosion, the girl was thrown back by the blast wave. The child's leg was pinned down by a concrete slab. Sasha suffered a severe arm fracture, head wound, severe bruises and internal injuries. Doctors were most concerned about the possibility of severe consequences from the concussion. But the worst of all was the injury to her leg. It had to be amputated.

Sasha underwent rehabilitation in Austria and learned to walk with a prosthetic leg. Two days after returning back to Ukraine, she went back to training.
