For Daniela from Mykolaiv, the war began at five in the morning with an explosion near her home — a moment that at first felt like a dream, until her mother said: “Yes, this is war.” The family first left for Pivdennoukrainsk, and then for Kyiv. But even in the capital, the girl found herself amid blackouts, explosions, and air-raid sirens. The scariest thing, she says, is getting used to all of this — not flinching at explosions, not being afraid of massive attacks. From childhood, Daniela knew she wanted to be an actress. The theater became her support, a space where the soul lives, where one can live through dozens of lives and not lose oneself. Even in the darkest times, she steps onto the stage — to remind us: we are alive, we are fighting, we are creating the future.
