Valentyna Nazarko survived for three months in the shelling-ravaged town of Kreminna. She recalls not eating bread for a long time. And when volunteers brought it to the city, people were on their knees. The only thing Valentina had enough of was honey, which she shared with the Ukrainian military.
The city lost water, and the spring and river were constantly shelled by russians, so they had to melt the snow. Valentyna recalls how she was caught in the sights of a sniper. She will remember this terrifying moment for the rest of her life. Ukrainian soldiers who were defending the city persuaded Valentyna to leave this hell. The interview with the woman was recorded in one of Dnipro’s shelters.
