Yulia is originally from Donetsk region and knows well what it means to wait for news from home where there is war. At first she lived with this pain from a distance, studying in Kyiv, but eventually the war reached here as well. She had to evacuate her pregnant sister, send her husband to the front, and live for years in anxious anticipation of his call. Now, after his injury, the family is together again — learning to live anew, holding on to the hope that one day the war will end and they will again be able to breathe freely.
