We have ten children, and there is no kindergarten or school in our village. The nearest school is in a neighboring village, ten kilometers away. Children go there by bus. A week ago, it broke down, and the children at the bus station almost froze. It was 20 degrees below zero – they had a cold.

We moved to Trudovske ten years ago in the hope of a quiet and happy life. But the war interfered with the plans. It's scary when they shoot. We have nowhere to hide. We get down on our knees and pray that God will keep the children and us, too.

When the volleys stop, children rush to do their homework. In the morning they have to get up early, and at six o'clock in the morning they are already going to school.

My husband goes to Volnovakha to work, because there is no work in our village. In the morning he goes to work by bus, and in the evening he goes home on foot 15 kilometers, because there are no busses at this time.
