Tatiana met the beginning of the full-scale invasion at home. “I did not believe that the war would come to our home. But when it did, I realised that life would never be the same again”, she says. Tetiana’s sons immediately joined the defence of the country. “They did not plan to be in the military. This decision was their conscious choice when the enemy came to our land. I could only pray for them,” says Tetiana. Her eldest son was killed at Azovstal. Her younger son was taken captive. Despite the loss and pain, she finds the strength to move on with her life and is looking forward to hearing her son’s call: “Mum, I’m home”.
