"We had just left Bakhmut and a horrible shelling of the street started"

"I tried volunteering in order not to lose my mind. When the bread was delivered, I would ride my bike and distribute it to the neighbors. I also distributed the humanitarian aid", - Halyna Nechvoloda says. She and her husband stayed in Bakhmut until October 2022. At that time there was already no electricity, no water, no connection. And the risk of coming under shelling was the highest possible. It is a miracle that the spouse survived, as just after their evacuation the street was heavily shelled.
