“When I was seven years old, a shell hit the neighbor’s house”

I am from Makiyivka city. When I was seven years old, when the war started, I had a moment, a case. I have a yard where two buildings are opposite to each other. And a shell just hit the neighbouring building.

Before the war, everything was comfortable there. It was pleasant to live in the city. And after that, all these memories are somehow past – it feels a little uncomfortable. I feel comfortable living in the city, but those memories that the war left me, they make me think about it a little. That is, I will not have memories of joy, memories of happiness, but rather memories of the war.

I dream to see it all end. To have peace and remember good things, but not bad ones.

Peace is a family. This is happiness, this is love, and this is everything associated with a good mood.
