“We saved the paintings by Maria Prymachenko, but everything else burned down”

In the first days of the full-scale war, russian rockets hit the Ivankiv Historical and Local History Museum in Kyiv region. However, before the fire destroyed almost all the exhibits and the building itself, the museum staff were able to save their pride, namely a collection of paintings by Maria Prymachenko, a very famous folk artist of Ukraine.
