On February 24, Olena, an art critic from Lviv, opened the exhibition “The Wall” in Lutsk featuring the renowned Ukrainian artist Pavlo Kovach. That evening, she witnessed the first rockets fall on Lutsk right before her eyes. This dramatic shift in her surroundings and emotions is forever etched in her memory. Although the exhibition lasted less than a day in peacetime, it resonated with visitors for another year, as the venue transformed from an exhibition hall into a humanitarian hub. “Art heals,” Olena believes, “and in times of war, the need for it grows even stronger. So does the hope that as long as the creative genius of the nation has not vanished, it remains invincible.”
