In the village of Lehedzyne in Cherkasy region, there is a centre that keeps the secrets of one of the world’s most mysterious civilisations – Trypillia. For two decades, the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Trypillian Culture” under the leadership of Vladyslav Chabaniuk has not only been protecting priceless artefacts that are more than six thousand years old, but also bringing ancient history to life through a museum, scientific expeditions and unique initiatives. The war changed the rhythm of life, but did not stop the main mission – to create an all-Ukrainian tourist information centre that will tell the world about the greatness and heritage of Trypillia. Vladyslav devoted his entire life to this mission, forever remaining a priest of its unique culture.
