Together with her husband and child, Liliia was surviving in Mariupol until August 13. They lived in a basement. The family was looking for water and food. 

“In a peaceful life, even cats and dogs would not eat such pits breads. A quarter per person. Stocks were running low by the end of March. Our main food was tea, Liliia said. “The worst thing was when the food ran out. The men were catching pigeons. They cooked soup. It was embarrassing.”
