Oksana Morozova

“It was terrible to explain to an eight-year-old how to survive if her parents died”

Oksana Morozova and her husband opened a private kindergarten in Hostomel in 2018. On March 1, 2022, the kindergarten building was badly damaged by shelling... The family did not have time to get out of the city in the first days of the invasion: the front line was approaching so quickly...

On March 3, 2022, Oksana Morozova’s house in Hostomel was destroyed. At the time of the hit, Oksana, her husband, and their eight-year-old daughter were in the house. It was a miracle that they did not remain buried alive under their home walls.
