Andrii Palatnyi

"Fundraising, Ukrainian Presence, Resistance Through Art"

Andrii met the beginning of the invasion on a train Kyiv - Mariupol. He did get into the port city but immediately returned to the capital. He spent the first three weeks at the railway station as a volunteer. He helped older people. Andrii managed to take care of his friends' animals, which were left at home without owners. He also turned art into a means of helping the country. With his theatre, he has done large projects in various European cities, telling about the horrors of the war. His last work is the multimedia exhibition VOICES, which was created in collaboration with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation project "Civilian Voices". It tells the story of the war, as seen through the eyes of Ukrainian civilians.
